Managed Media Services

Managed Media Services
for critical platforms.

We monitor, manage and maintain your TV or streaming platform around the clock, so your team does not have to cover every shift or handle every technical issue alone.

From Tirana, Albania, our engineers deliver cost-effective Managed Media Services to broadcasters, telecom operators and technology vendors worldwide. We work with your existing technology, our own video products, or both, with clear responsibilities and optional specialist technical support.

The business case

Why would my business hand this to KLIM IT?

Running a TV or streaming platform properly means someone competent is watching it every hour of every day, and someone knows which supplier to call when it breaks. Building that yourself means hiring, training and rostering a full team. With KLIM IT you buy that capability as one scoped service, delivered from Albania, and keep the systems you already have.

Work you no longer carry alone

  • Building and filling a full 24/7 shift roster for media operations
  • Running separate on-call rotations for nights, weekends and holidays
  • Chasing several vendors yourself when an incident crosses their boundaries
  • Checking signal and viewer quality by hand across every channel
  • Writing incident reports and root-cause follow-ups after the fact

Where the cost and coordination effect comes from

One team instead of several

Monitoring, incident handling, quality assurance and supplier escalation sit with one accountable operation rather than being split across staff, contractors and vendors.

Keep what you have

We work on your existing technology and tools. There is no platform replacement project as a condition of the service.

A predictable monthly fee

The fee is scoped on coverage hours, services in scope and SLA, so operational cost is agreed in advance rather than driven by overtime and ad-hoc call-outs.

Engineering time back

Your own engineers spend less time on routine watching and firefighting, and more on product and customer priorities.

How the fee is scoped

Scoped monthly fee based on services in scope, coverage hours, SLA and optional L2/L3 support.

Whether this lowers your total cost depends on your workload, licensing, existing infrastructure and the responsibilities we agree. We do not promise a fixed saving; we show you the scope so you can judge it.

Compare it with what you run today.

Put your current staffing, on-call arrangements, infrastructure, tooling and supplier contracts next to a scoped KLIM IT proposal. We will explain line by line what we take on, what stays with you, and what the monthly fee covers. If keeping it in-house is the better fit, the comparison will show that too.

The Challenge

Solving
complexity.

Customer Problem

Media and network platforms often involve fragmented vendors, separated internal teams, and operational blind spots. When complex incidents occur, ownership is unclear, leading to prolonged downtime and customer impact.

What KLIM IT Offers

A unified Managed Media Service that assumes end-to-end accountability for platform operations, incident management, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement.

Scope & Outcomes

What the
service delivers.

Less staffing and on-call administration

Use an agreed operations team instead of organising every monitoring shift and specialist role yourself. Coverage, responsibilities and the monthly fee are scoped to your platform.

Continuous operational visibility

Monitoring across media signals, infrastructure, applications, networks, and end-user experience.

Quality checks without a separate assurance project

Combine automated signal checks with human checks of picture, sound and subtitles in the same managed engagement, rather than coordinating a separate quality-assurance team.

Clear service ownership

Named responsibilities, structured escalation, documented handovers, and accountable follow-through.

Flexible operating models

Focused NOC coverage, hybrid team extension, or a fully managed service shaped around your controls.

Optional technical support

L2/L3 technical support and ITSM-aligned delivery are available as part of your managed service or as a standalone engagement.

Operating Structure

How it
works.

Delivery / Operating Model

Delivered from our Tirana operations hub, the service is shaped around your organization. We can provide focused NOC coverage, act as a hybrid team extension, or assume full operational responsibility based on agreed controls.

Business Model

Broad operational ownership for a fixed monthly managed service fee based on scope, SLA, and required coverage hours.

How the service works

Built around
the operation.

01

One operating layer across the media chain

Managed Media Services bring signal monitoring, applications, infrastructure, networks, service desks, and supplier escalation into one coordinated operation. Instead of relying on separate teams to notice and transfer issues, KLIM IT follows incidents from the first alert through investigation, workaround, resolution, documentation, and service review.

02

Coverage shaped around your organisation

Broadcasters, streaming platforms, ISPs, telecom operators, and technology vendors do not need the same operating model. KLIM IT can cover nights and weekends, reinforce an internal NOC or MCR, manage a defined platform component, or provide a dedicated 24/7 team with agreed responsibilities, access controls, and escalation procedures.

03

Operational improvement, not only monitoring

The service includes more than watching dashboards. Recurring incidents, noisy alarms, capacity risks, unclear ownership, and incomplete documentation are converted into actionable improvements. Reporting connects technical activity to service availability, customer impact, and the priorities of the engineering team.

04

Quality assurance — from signal to screen

Quality of Service (QoS) checks cover signal transport and stream compliance; Quality of Experience (QoE) checks look at what viewers actually see and hear. Agreed coverage can combine automated telemetry, deep-packet inspection, ETR 101 290 P1 and P2 checks and probe reporting with human checks across channel mosaics and set-top boxes. Engineers investigate black screens, audio dropouts, subtitle alignment and lip-sync issues and report recurring degradation. The streams, locations, probe infrastructure and checks are agreed within Managed Media Services.

05

Platform maintenance within the managed service

Where included in scope, our engineers handle software deployment, monitoring, patching, configuration, upgrades, capacity reviews and documentation as part of keeping the platform operational. Your team can retain product and business priorities instead of coordinating every routine maintenance task. Hosting and more detailed platform lifecycle options are described under Media & Connected Hosting.

06

Optional technical support — bundled or standalone

L2/L3 engineering support is available as an option within Managed Media Services, alongside another KLIM IT product or service, or independently as a standalone engagement. Scope can include technical investigation, vendor escalation, workaround validation, problem management, RCA, and customer communication. Engineers can work within your existing ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or Zammad workflows, following your queues, approvals, SLAs, and escalation model. English, Spanish, and Italian support is available; scope, coverage hours, and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement.

Frequently asked questions

Useful
answers.

Are viewer-quality checks included in Managed Media Services?

Quality assurance can be included in the agreed managed service. QoS checks look at signal transport and compliance; QoE checks look at what viewers see and hear. Coverage can combine automated probes with human checks for picture, sound, subtitles and lip-sync. Streams, locations, tooling and responsibilities are scoped for each engagement.

What costs and work can a managed service help us avoid?

Depending on the agreed responsibilities, your team can reduce the effort of organising monitoring shifts, maintaining a separate on-call roster, coordinating vendors and handling routine maintenance. Compare the scoped service fee with your own staffing, tools, infrastructure and licensing costs; savings are not a fixed percentage or guaranteed outcome.

What are Managed Media Services?

Managed Media Services combine continuous monitoring, incident management, platform operations, vendor coordination, reporting, and service ownership for broadcast, streaming, telecom, and media technology environments.

Can KLIM IT work alongside an existing engineering team?

Yes. KLIM IT can provide focused NOC or MCR coverage, operate as an extension of an internal team, or take responsibility for a fully managed service with agreed workflows and escalation paths.

Where does KLIM IT deliver 24/7 media operations?

KLIM IT is Netherlands-founded and delivers round-the-clock media and network operations through its engineering and NOC hub in Tirana, Albania, for customers across Europe.

Can KLIM IT provide technical support without a managed media service?

Yes. L2/L3 technical support is available as part of Managed Media Services, alongside another KLIM IT offering, or as a standalone engagement. Scope, coverage hours, ITSM workflows, and escalation responsibilities are agreed with each customer.
